This is one of the most scenic hikes I have ever done. Views are almost constantly delivered. It's a short trip around, just about 2 miles.
It all just looks like a bunch of broccoli to me.
I may be going to hell in a bucket; but at least I am harvesting the ride.

Whiteside Mountain

upon the Blue Ridge Mountains...
I love mountains. It was great to get away from the summer heat of the Tennessee Valley and retreat to a home at elevation. We spent allot of time relaxing on the porch in the comfortable mountain air.
Thanks to good friends for the invitation to Cashiers, NC. We really enjoyed ourselves.
