From Frantic Oblivion to the Top of the World... and Back

Birthdays and Leprechauns.
Life is busy lately, but life is good. Saturday's road ride from busy west Knoxville into campus and through the edge of downtown; quickly skirted out of town, via country roads, complete with Oreo cows and goats. Ben Rams, the birthday boy, led the way through roads so narrow an SUV can barely fit. Streams flowed along side the road and barns flanked the scenery, it was the essence of Tennessee.
We connected with Little River Road eventually, via Nuebert Springs, McCannon, and Martin Mill, among others. The final push to the turnaround point was the 11 mile climb to the top of the Foothills Parkway, at Look Rock.
